I stopped by Joe’s Coffee Shop for a quick coffee and ended up really enjoying the little break. The coffee was smooth and flavorful, and I liked the relaxed atmosphere it’s the kind of place where you can just sit for a while without feeling rushed. I also grabbed a pastry with my drink, which was a nice touch. Overall, a simple but really pleasant coffee stop. ☕️

Some restaurants simply serve breakfast. Joe’s Coffee Shop turns it into an experience you’ll be thinking about long after you’ve paid the check. From the very first bite, I could tell they aren’t cutting corners. The quality of the ingredients—the fresh produce, the meats, the biscuits, everything—takes familiar breakfast classics to an entirely different level. I ordered the Big Bear Special with biscuits and gravy, and it was one of those meals you wish didn’t have to end. The Big Bear Special comes with two eggs, your choice of meat, and your choice of pancakes, French toast, or a waffle, making it an incredible value. And whatever you do, don’t skip the biscuits and sausage gravy—they’re rich, comforting, and absolutely unforgettable. This may sound funny, but after we finished eating, I almost didn’t want the server to clear the table. The meal had been so enjoyable that the empty plates felt like souvenirs from a breakfast done exceptionally well. That’s never happened to me before. The manager was another highlight. Warm, approachable, and genuinely compassionate, he made us feel like guests instead of customers. That kind of hospitality can’t be faked—it comes from peop

Me and my wife started coming here our senior year of high school. It’s truly where Irving meets and eats. Not to date ourselves… but it’s been about 12 years of coming here whenever we can, even driving in from Dallas and passing multiple other places on the way. What keeps bringing us back is the hospitality. The owner (or the lady who runs the restaurant) makes you feel like you’re her grandkid — literally like family. We’re greeted as soon as we walk in, and the servers are always attentive and polite. The food is really good and not overpriced. You can tell this place has stayed open all these years because of those main factors: great service, consistent food, and a welcoming atmosphere. You’ll notice a lot of elderly guests dining here, and I’m sure it’s because they feel comfortable and at home. There are regulars in here all the time. The establishment really hasn’t changed — same décor, same colors, same everything. It feels like a true mom-and-pop spot frozen in time. It gives a 90s-era aesthetic, not because it’s trendy, but because that’s genuinely how long (if not longer) it’s been around. Everything around it has changed, but this spot has stood the test of time. My

I wished I could of gave this place a 5 star review based off the lady (she's might be the owner) who greeted us as we walked in and made us laugh. We got to pick where we wanted to sit. I was disappointed with the server that we had. She didn't seem friendly. I was expecting that service was going to be great based off of all the other reviews on here. We almost felt that she didn't want us there. For this reason... I ate one of my biscuits with gravy and she came and took the plate away before I could finish my other biscuit. I was still eating the other half of my bacon, eggs, and grits so I'm not sure why she would take my biscuits and gravy away. I should've said something but she already walked away and we just moved here so I didn't want to start anything! Very disappointed! The breakfast was good though. I did want to bring the rest of my family here to try other food they have on the menu. However, not sure if we would like to come back because of the server! The server had glasses if this would help the owner speak to her about her service. Food: 5 stars Service: 1 star Owner (I think she was! She was doing the books.): 5 stars
